Getting started
What is SeekSweep?
SeekSweep runs real-world prize hunts in Sydney. Choose an eligible hunt, follow its clues and physically find the prize or token under that event’s rules. Memberships also include the benefits and giveaway eligibility listed for your plan.
What can I see before joining?
Everyone can browse upcoming hunts: prize photos, dates, release times, broad areas and eligible access. Try the free three-clue warm-up, save a hunt on your device, add it to your calendar or share its public listing. You can also try the sample map. Practice activities do not award prizes or paid access. Saving a hunt does not book a place; calendar events do not update automatically, so check the listing before travelling. Real riddles and precise prize locations stay locked until the hunt’s access and solving requirements are met.
Is the free launch list the same as membership?
No. The free launch list is for hunt news and updates, with no payment required. It does not unlock paid hunts or issue giveaway tickets. To take part, choose a paid membership or a Single Hunt Pass accepted for that event.
What’s the difference between Seeker and Elite?
Seeker is $19 AUD per month for Seeker hunts and the listed member benefits. Elite is $49 AUD per month and also includes Elite-only hunts. For 7 November, Seeker includes the $500 gift-card and Pokémon ETB hunts; Elite includes both plus the PS5 hunt. Eligible members pay no extra event fee for these hunts.
Can I join just one hunt without subscribing?
Yes. A Single Hunt Pass costs $29 AUD once for one named eligible event. It includes that event’s hunt access and does not renew. For 7 November, choose either the gift-card hunt or the Pokémon hunt; the PS5 is Elite-only. A pass does not include the other hunts, a membership or membership giveaway benefits.
Who can take part, and do I need to be in Sydney?
The 7 November hunts are for NSW residents aged 18 or over with the required paid access on their own account. You must physically attend the Sydney hunt to win. Organisers, prize placers, people with advance knowledge and their immediate families cannot win. Other events and giveaways may have different requirements, so check their rules.
Membership & payments
How do I join, and when does my access activate?
Choose a plan, enter your email to sign in or create an account, then complete Stripe checkout. Email sign-in uses a code, so you do not need a password. Payments through the signed-in website checkout activate the matching access automatically once confirmed. Check My membership, then open your eligible hunts. An upcoming hunt still waits for its scheduled riddle release.
I paid but my hunt is still locked. What should I do?
Sign in using the same SeekSweep account you used before checkout. Open My membership and allow payment confirmation to finish, then refresh. For a Single Hunt Pass, check the named event in your wallet. Confirm that your plan includes the hunt and that it has started. Purchases through older payment links may need receipt verification. If it still looks wrong, email seeksweep@hotmail.com with the checkout email and receipt reference. Do not pay again to try to unlock it.
Do memberships renew, and how do I cancel?
Seeker and Elite renew monthly until cancelled. Open My membership and choose Manage billing to cancel through Stripe. An ordinary cancellation stops future renewals; access continues through the current paid period. A Single Hunt Pass is one payment for one event and has no renewal. Contact us if you cannot find your billing controls.
How late can I buy a Single Hunt Pass?
Bookings close 30 minutes before the named hunt starts. On 7 November, gift-card pass bookings close at 7:10 pm and Pokémon pass bookings at 8:05 pm, Sydney time. Check current pass availability and finish checkout in advance. A late, closed or unavailable checkout does not guarantee access.
Can I get a refund if I change my mind or miss the hunt?
No refunds for change of mind, non-attendance, late arrival or not winning where the advertised service was properly supplied. This policy does not exclude refunds or other remedies required by the Australian Consumer Law. Cancellations, material changes and services not supplied as promised are handled under the event rules and applicable law. Contact SeekSweep with your booking details if you need help.
On hunt day
When and where are the 7 November hunts?
On Saturday 7 November 2026, the PS5 hunt runs 7:00–7:20 pm around Hickson Road Reserve, The Rocks; the $500 gift-card hunt runs 7:40–8:00 pm around Barangaroo Reserve; and the Pokémon ETB hunt runs 8:35–9:00 pm around Tumbalong Park, Darling Harbour. All times are Sydney time. These are general areas. Exact prize directions unlock after a correct riddle answer. Check the latest listings before travelling.
How do I unlock the exact prize location?
Open your eligible hunt on the member map when its riddle releases. Enter your answer in the hunt. A correct answer saves the unlock to your account and reveals the prize pin, directions and collection instructions. You then need to physically find it while the hunt is open. Arriving in the general area before solving does not qualify you to claim.
What happens if I get the riddle wrong?
The exact location stays hidden and you can try another answer. Each account can check up to five answers per hunt per minute; the app tells you when to wait. Capitalisation, punctuation, accents and extra spaces do not matter. Read the riddle carefully and solve it independently.
Do Elite members get the riddle earlier?
No. Everyone eligible for the same hunt gets its riddle at the listed release time. Elite includes access to Elite-only hunts, such as the November PS5 hunt; it does not give an earlier release or priority over Seeker members in a shared hunt.
Can I bring friends or share answers?
Friends may accompany you where public access allows, but the 7 November hunts are individual entries. Each entrant must use their own eligible account, solve independently and physically find the prize themselves. Do not share answers or unlocked locations, let someone collect for you, or use AI, automated guessing or multiple accounts to bypass the rules.
Do I need to download an app or use the camera?
Use SeekSweep in your phone’s web browser; no app download is needed. Bring a charged phone and mobile internet, and sign in before the start. Camera and GPS guidance are optional. Read the revealed directions and collection instructions carefully. A verified physical find also needs claim evidence, so keep your phone ready to take a clear photo.
What should I know about safety and accessibility?
Walk, give way to others and stay in open public areas. No November prize requires climbing, digging, entering water, crossing barriers or going into closed or ticketed areas. Never use the hunt while driving. Plan your own travel between rounds and allow for evening conditions. Email SeekSweep before the event about access needs; if a route is blocked, stop and contact the host.
Winning & getting help
Does joining or solving the riddle guarantee a prize?
No. There is one prize per November hunt. The first eligible person who has solved that riddle on their own account and then physically finds its designated prize wins, subject to verification. Solving unlocks the location; it does not reserve the prize. Being first to answer or first to upload a photo does not by itself win. The rules explain genuine ties.
I physically found it. How do I claim and receive the prize?
Show your unlocked hunt to the nearby SeekSweep host before collecting. After the host checks the find, use I physically found it to submit a clear photo and explain where you found it. Keep gift-card numbers out of photos. The host verifies eligibility and the recorded unlock. The verified winner normally receives the physical prize on site; if more checks are needed, the host explains the next steps under the handover rules.
Can one person win more than one hunt?
Yes, under the 7 November rules. You must have access to each hunt, solve each riddle yourself and be the first eligible person to physically find each prize. A win does not bring the next hunt’s start forward or give you priority in another round.
What if I arrive late or someone has already won?
Each hunt closes when its prize is validly found and confirmed, or at the advertised finish time, whichever comes first. Late arrival does not extend the hunt or reserve a prize. Check the current hunt status before travelling. If nobody qualifies before closing, the host removes the prize for a separately announced activity.
What if weather, a closure or a technical problem interrupts the hunt?
SeekSweep may pause, relocate or cancel an affected hunt where conditions prevent safe or fair delivery. Check the site for updates and follow the host’s directions. If you have genuinely found the prize but the upload fails, tell the host immediately so the find can be recorded, then email your evidence. Changes and any required remedies follow the event rules.
Where do my passes, giveaway entries and winnings appear?
Your SeekSweep wallet shows your event passes, giveaway tickets, claim progress and verified winnings. Giveaway eligibility is separate from finding a hunt prize: check the rules of the giveaway you want to enter. For example, the Bali giveaway has its own eligibility and entry rules. A demo on the homepage does not issue a prize or add wallet credit.
I found a QR token. Is that the same claim process?
Follow that token’s instructions and enter its unique SS code on the QR claim page. QR drops have their own verification rules. The 7 November physical prize hunts use the riddle unlock and host-verified physical-find process described above.
Do I have to be filmed if I win?
For the 7 November hunts, claim photos are private verification evidence. Promotional filming or use of your face or full name requires separate permission. Refusing optional publicity does not remove a valid win. If you have a question or dispute, email seeksweep@hotmail.com with the hunt name, time and relevant details.
